Marzena Bard, PTA, CYT, PCES I Physical Therapist Assistant
Marzena earned a Master’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Wroclaw in Poland. After moving to the United States in 2004, she became a certified yoga instructor and has been teaching ever since. She loves to use a therapeutic yoga approach when working with her patients. Yoga also led her to complete her Physical Therapist Assistant studies locally, at Mercer County Community College.
Marzena has since been trained by the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute to treat patients with pelvic floor disorders. She treats female, male and pediatric patients to help them gain full pelvic floor function and better quality of life. Whenever she visits her native country, Poland, she teaches multiple workshops on yoga and pelvic floor wellness. Marzena is a fitness enthusiast and besides yoga, she enjoys running and snowboarding. She is also interested in nutrition and green, healthy living, and is the happy mother of two young children. |
Fun fact: Marzena is a big winter sport and snow lover. Before moving to the US in 2004, she spent most winter weekends in the Polish or Czech Republic mountains and all winter vacations in the Austrian or French Alps, snowboarding. She hopes to one day run snowboard/yoga retreats for women.
