Donna Zamost, PTA, PCES I Physical Therapist Assistant

Marzena Bard
Donna has worked in physical movement related careers her entire life. Before moving to South Jersey, Donna spent 15 years working as a professional singer/dancer in New York City.  Her initial interest in physical therapy began while rehabbing injuries she sustained as a performing artist. After attending the University Of Pennsylvania, where she majored in psychology, Donna earned an Associate degree in Applied Science from Rowan College of South Jersey’s physical therapist assistant program.

Donna has worked in the health and wellness industry for many years. In addition to her interest in pelvic health, Donna is also currently completing a certification as a lymphedema therapist (CLT-LANA.) She holds certifications in pilates, the Gyrotonic Expansion System, and the New York City Ballet workout. Additionally, she is a certified personal trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Donna loves exploring movement from a mind-body holistic perspective. She endeavors to help her patients lead active pain-free lifestyles. She is passionate about educating young athletes in the importance of integrating core stability into their sport to improve performance and avoid injury. Donna’s daughter is a Division 1 college rower and Donna has developed a core stability/flexibility workout aimed specifically for rowers.

Fun fact: Donna lived in Monte Carlo for a year where she performed with Liza Minnelli, Harry Connick Jr and Elton John.
