Bryn graduated from the University of Delaware in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science. She worked as a medical microbiologist at Merck Pharmaceuticals and then as an andrologist at South Jersey Fertility. During that time, she found her love of physical therapy through volunteering at Weisman Children’s Hospital. Bryn then went on to graduate Stockton College with a doctorate in physical therapy in 2010. She has worked in many settings including hospital based therapy, orthopedics, pediatrics, and now over 7 years as a pelvic specialist. Bryn holds several certifications as listed below.

Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health Physical Therapy (WCS). A women’s health clinical specialist demonstrates advanced knowledge in the realm of women’s health physical therapy and demonstrates her commitment to pursuing the highest level of skill with which to best serve her patients.
Board Certified in Biofeedback for Pelvic Muscle Dysfunction (BCB-PMD) through the BCIA. Bryn uses this tool to help teach strengthening, relaxation, and coordination of the pelvic muscles and abdomen. She has a special interest in using the biofeedback to help improve symptoms of constipation related to dyssynergia, and is additionally trained to use rectal balloons to improve sensation in the rectum. She is a registered mentor through the BCIA.
Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) through Herman and Wallace which also identifies her as a pelvic specialist for women and men’s health.
Certified and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) Bryn has her yoga instructor certification and is registered with yoga alliance. She feels utilizing yoga can help patients enjoy building strength, flexibility, movement patterns, and promote wellness of the body and mind. She has a strong interest in using yoga with the pregnant and postpartum population.
Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification (PCES). This certification demonstrates comprehensive knowledge in the best corrective exercises to improve strength and alignment in the pregnant and postpartum population.
Bryn is also trained with rehabilitative ultrasound, which she also uses to help patients correctly coordinate their pelvic floor muscles for urinary and bowel function, as well as train the muscles in the abdominal wall postpartum or post surgical.
Bryn spends all her free time mountain biking and rock climbing with her family and absolutely loves being outside in the woods and mountains.
Fun fact: Bryn loves nature and spent several summers backpacking along the Appalachian trail and working as a manager in outward bound programs teaching climbing, ropes courses, and caving. At times months would go by without ever sleeping inside. Her bed was a folded tarp and a sleeping bag, and morning showers were a quick freezing cold dip in the river.
