Becca Ironside, PT, MSPT | Physical Therapist

Rebecca Ironside
Becca Ironside graduated with her Master's degree from Thomas Jefferson University in 1998. In 2015, she joined Connect PT and now specializes in pelvic health.

Becca continues to work with Connect PT from sunny Florida. She provides Wellness Visits, where people can access an appointment online to ask questions about how their pelvic health is related to other bodily systems. People can discuss the various pieces of their medical history gleaned from other practitioners and gain a comprehensive view on what might be driving pelvic health issues, including bowel, bladder and sexual concerns.

At the suggestion of Michelle Dela Rosa in 2020, Becca wrote a book about erectile dysfunction, pelvic pain in men and prostate cancer. This book is a series of short vignettes about people living with these issues and how they impact relationships. The book then delves into the research behind treatments available for those with such diagnoses. The book is available on Amazon in paperback and ebook formats: On the Sneak Tip: The Male Pelvis Revealed.
More recently, Becca has been writing articles for Health Union, an online organization which supports those with chronic health conditions like multiple sclerosis, prostate cancer and endometriosis. She has been nominated for an award for Revolutionary Research by this company because of her unique ability to take scientific studies and make them easy to digest with humor, compassion and simplicity.

Fun fact: In her senior year of high school, Becca starred as Miss Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls", with no prior theater experience. She thought that maybe she wanted to act on Broadway as her career path, but became a physical therapist instead. She has never once regretted her decision.
